Scope
Amplitude offers a B2B SaaS platform for product analytics and digital optimization. Amplitude’s platform enables its customers to analyze the type of actions taken by their end-users within the customers’ mobile applications and on their websites to help them build and deliver better products. With respect to the Amplitude platform, Amplitude is a data processor and Amplitude’s customers are data controllers under EU data privacy laws and regulations. Amplitude’s customers, not Amplitude, control the type of data that is collected, submitted to and processed through the Amplitude platform. Amplitude processes personal data as a data controller when it collects business contact information about customers and prospects. Amplitude uses service providers to assist Amplitude in providing the platform and other services as set forth in Amplitude’s privacy policy and its Data Processing Addendum.

What GDPR means, and what it does not

"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.

Questions buyers ask

Is Amplitude GDPR compliant?

There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.

How does CertReports verify this?

Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
