- Arctera provides enterprise data management software solutions that helps organizations to protect and manage their mission-critical data, as well as data protection, compliance readiness, and storage optimization services. The data stored within those solutions by Arctera on behalf of its customers is stored as a processor (as that term is defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Arctera collects personal data for the following purposes: Providing commercial quotes for Arctera's products and services upon request ; managing purchase transactions and providing customer and technical support; sending product information, technical alerts, updates, promotions or offers applicable to Arctera's business to interested parties ; managing participation in events for registered participants organized by Arctera or third parties on its behalf and capturing interest in related products, services and events; analyzing and improve the quality of Arctera's websites, products and services; enabling interoperability within Arctera's applications; and enforcing legal rights, conducting usage audits or comply with legal requirements. Using personal data, such as contact information, of its vendors and representatives. to manage its relationships with its vendors; collecting and processing personal data about its employees, and the employees of its subsidiaries and affiliates, when carrying out and supporting administrative and human resources functions and activities; obtaining and processing personal data about employees’ emergency contacts and other individuals (such as dependents and beneficiaries) to the extent that Arctera employees provide the information to the company. To fulfil the above purposes, we may collect: • Your contact details including name, mailing address, email address and phone number; • Shipping, billing and payment details • Any passwords you create for Arctera portals as well as other information necessary to deliver products, customer service or technical support; • Device information, browser type and settings, IP address and traffic data relating to your Internet connection; • Arctera product performance data and information about how you use our products and services on our websites; and • Website analytics data created by your use of our websites. This personal data may be disclosed personal data to recipients such as (1) Arctera’s affiliates and subsidiaries, (2) third-party controllers and (3) third-party processors the company has retained to perform services on its behalf and pursuant to its instructions. Arctera also may disclose personal data if it is required to do so by law or legal process or in response to lawful requests from public authorities, including to meet national security, public interest or law enforcement requirements, in the course of business transfers and to professional advisers, as further detailed in Arctera’s Privacy Notice at https://www.arctera.io/privacy .
