- Askia provides software for market research professionals. Our clients are typically market research agencies that use the software to carry out market research projects via online surveys, face-to-face and telephone interviews. Askia hosts the software for a number of clients and so we process the data by storing the respondent data in their projects. In line with GDPR and other data privacy guidelines, our clients analyze the data at an aggregated level only and the data is stored only for as long as the project is needed for. There are safeguards in the software to ensure that PII data is encrypted in any data exports and all export actions are subject to audit trails available in system logs. We may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal data: Identity Data: name, title, username, password or other identifier; Technical Data: internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access the sites; Profile Data: your interests, preferences, comments, feedback and survey responses; Usage Data: information about how you use our sites, solutions and services; Marketing and Communications Data: your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences; and Other: any other information you chose to send or otherwise make available to us.
