- Aural Analytics is a corporation created to develop automated and objective outcome measures for tracking health and disease. These outcome measures help clinicians and companies reliably track the effects of behavioral intervention, pharmacological intervention, surgery, and devices. We have developed a mobile application called Speech Vitals (“our app”) to facilitate our partnerships with research partners and customers interested in this area. The aim of our app is to facilitate the data collection and to understand the variations in data that track with decline or that predict early signs of a disorder. Use of our app is restricted to those individuals that are currently participating in a research study or clinical trial with one of our research partners or customers SpeechAssess and Speech Vitals, are web apps that are used in pharma and academic studies to collect speech samples. Data Collection: - User Study ID - Basic device information, like hardware model, OS version, language - Basic session information, like which study tasks were completed and when Audio recordings from the speech tasks - For some studies, participants answer basic survey questions. For example, asking to rate a picture or scenario 1-7 - (Eventually) General app behaviors. - Potentially use 3rd party tools for in-app analytics (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, KISSmetrics) to collect information about things like clicks, screen visits, and load times to improve the experience. - Depending on the study, we may share speech data with GDPR-compliant transcription and translation providers. What we do not collect: - Name of user - IP addresses - Demographic information related to user (age, information about where they live, socio economic status, health or medical information) - IDs other than the user ID provided to you by us or by the enrolling third party (Social Security number, insurance ID, Medicare/Medicaid ID) - GPS tracking - Device data generated by other applications (photos, contacts, internet browser information)
