- To provide and support aviation operations and related software services on behalf of our business customers, including passenger assistance, flight operations, maintenance coordination, dispatch, workforce management, customer support, system administration, reporting, and related business communications. AvTech processes personal data solely on behalf of and under the instructions of its business customers, who act as the data controllers. Personal data is processed only as necessary to perform contracted services, fulfill contractual and legal obligations, maintain the security and integrity of our systems, provide customer support, and improve the reliability and performance of our services. AvTech will take reasonable steps to limit the personal data it processes to that which is relevant and necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. AvTech will not process personal data in a manner that is incompatible with the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently authorized by the individual or the applicable data controller. To the extent appropriate to its role as a data processor, AvTech will take reasonable steps to ensure that personal data is reliable for its intended use and will process such data in accordance with its customers' instructions. AvTech will adhere in good faith to the Data Privacy Framework Principles for as long as it retains such information. Personal data will be retained in identifiable form only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was processed, to comply with applicable legal obligations, or as otherwise permitted under the Data Privacy Framework Principles. Where appropriate, personal data may be retained for longer periods for archival, audit, legal, or statistical purposes, subject to appropriate safeguards. Passenger information is supplied to us through airline and third-party data feeds. We receive passengers’ full names, booking numbers and flight itineraries. This information is added to our system so agents at the airport are informed in advance and prepared to assist the passengers throughout their journey. This passenger information is stored in our internal database and can be redacted at our customer’s request. This information is not shared outside of our internal database. With the passengers’ permission, their email address may be recorded in our system for optional surveys assessing the service provided by the assisting agent. Email addresses are automatically removed from our system after 30 days.
