- Axway provides different kind of services for its customers, including Consulting, Cloud, SaaS, Perpetual/temporary License on premise, and Support. As part of these activities, Axway needs to process personal data as a controller. However, Axway doesn’t necessarily process personal data on behalf of a third party (such as an Axway customer) as a processor. As a software publisher, Axway doesn’t process personal data on behalf of its customers. Purposes of Data Processing: As a controller under the GDPR, Axway processes personal data, limited to business contact details, of our customers' personnel (including employees, agents, and subcontractors) for contract administration and marketing purposes strictly in compliance with GDPR regulations. Additionally, as a processor, we handle customer and/or customer's customer personal data on behalf of and under the authority of our direct customers. Tools/Applications: Axway Inc. may access European personal data through various tools and applications, including CRM back office and front office stored in private clouds located in Europe. Additionally, private cloud environments provided to customers, along with marketing tools, are utilized, each with appropriate safeguards in place. Kind of Personal Data: The personal data processed by Axway includes office addresses, phone numbers, role functions, and newsletter subscriptions for Axway employees. Similarly, for customer employees, office addresses, phone numbers, and role functions are processed. Personal data of customer's customers are handled on a case-by-case basis, inaccessible to Axway without specific authorization from the respective customer. Additionally, we would like to inform that Axway transmits personal data to other Axway affiliates for internal administrative purposes only, and these affiliates may be located in third countries.
