- We process personal data in reliance on the Privacy Shield through (1) our BlueFox.IO sensor device (“Sensor”), which our enterprise customers can use to help gauge aggregate visitor trends at physical locations, and (2) our websites, mobile apps/online services (“General Services,” and with the Sensor, our “Services”). (1) The Sensor Whenever a WiFi-enabled device is in range, the Sensor may automatically collect the following information about that device: its MAC Address, the time/date, and the relative distance of the device from the Sensor. It may also be able to collect the brand of the device. The Sensor transmits this information to our servers along with the encrypted value of the MAC Address. We use the collected information to provide, maintain and improve our Services for our customers that install Sensors in their facilities, and to develop new products and services. We disclose the information collected from a Sensor in aggregate form to our customers, who see the number of devices detected by the Sensor, and other aggregate statistics related to the time or signal strength detected, but will not see any information about any one particular device (such as the encrypted value of the MAC Address. (2) General Services We collect information provided to us when individual end users register for an account, sign up for updates, or communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include an individual end user’s name, address, mobile number, email, username and account password, WiFi network name and password (i.e., to connect the Sensor to their location’s WiFi network) and location size. We also integrate our website with a third-party service provider that processes online payments made via our website. We also collect: (i) Standard server logs in connection with the use of our Services by end users, including the type of browser used, access times, pages viewed, IP address and the web page last visited before navigating to our websites; (ii) Information about the computer or mobile device end users use to access our Services, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers and mobile network information; and (iii) Information standardly collected by tracking technologies (including via Cookies, Local Storage and Pixel Tags). We use the collected information to (i) Provide, maintain, deliver and improve our General Services; (ii) Send end users technical notices and support and administrative messages; (iii) Communicate with end users about products, services, promotions, events and other news and information we think will be of interest to them; (iv) Monitor and analyze trends, usage and activities in connection with our Services; and (v) Detect and prevent fraudulent transactions via our websites, and protect our rights/property. We may disclose the collected information: (i) When an end user uses interactive areas of our General Services, like our blog, certain information they choose to share may be displayed publicly, e.g., their username and any content they post; (ii) With our vendors; (iii) In response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, applicable law/regulations; (iv) In response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements; (v) If we believe an individual end user’s actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property and safety of BlueFox or others (including to prevent actual or potential fraud); (vi) In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company; (vii) Between and among BlueFox.IO and its current and future parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and other companies under common control/ownership; or (viii) With an individual end user’s consent or at their direction.
