- Personal Data other than Human Resources Data: Provision of Subscription Services purchased our customers. Ceros provides a cloud-based creative platform and associated professional services to enable users to produce, publish, and host online interactive content. Ceros requires names and emails of the customer’s employees/contractors/other authorized third-parties requiring a login to the Platform (“Users”) for user authentication purposes. Ceros also monitor use of the Platform by the Users and collects the IP addresses of the logins for that purpose. We offer Sing Sign-on (“SSO”) functionality as an alternative. If a customer uses Ceros Analytics (vs. Google or Adobe Analytics, for example) then Ceros will also collect the IP address from the visitors to that customer’s published content in order to provide performance metrics (i.e. unique visitors, location data, etc.). The IP addresses are anonymized upon collection, are not accessible by the Users, and all performance metrics are displayed in the aggregate (i.e. “50% of our visitors were located in the US”). We do offer functionality to collect the IP addresses in connection with the customer's existing consent management platform. Customers also have the option to disable Ceros Analytics, in which case we will not collect all additional data under the Agreement. Human Resources Data: Ceros is a global company with employees located outside of the United States. What GDPR means, and what it does not
"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.
Read the GDPR guide and browse all vendors with evidenceQuestions buyers ask
Is Ceros GDPR compliant?
There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.
How does CertReports verify this?
Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
