- Scope
- When using the DoubleDutch platform the end user or the customer may provide us with personal data, which includes all personally identifiable information (PII) and data that directly or indirectly identifies the end user such as name, email address, phone number and location data. The end user controls how much information is provided to DoubleDutch. To use the App or Registration, DoubleDutch is provided the end user's email, username and password. For Registration, if requested by the event organizer, an end user may provide job title, company, company address or business phone number to create a profile. We may receive this information from the end user or event organizer so we can prepopulate certain fields in the App. When using the App the end user can also decide to create social profiles that display name, job title, company, links to social profiles (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn) and activity. In addition, users can contribute to the activity feed, respond to posts, comments, survey/poll responses and any other App or Registration related functions or features that may be available. The event organizer may request additional information about the user beyond a user name and email address. It is up to the user how much additional information is shared with DoubleDutch, the event organizer and the other attendees. We collect limited personal data from the user through the user's use of our App, Registration, or Website. The only personal data we actively collect beyond that which the user has provided through registration or use of the App, Registration, or Website is IP address, browser software, operating system and the time and date on which the user visited the App, Registration, or Website. In addition, we may also track usage of the App for statistical and research purposes by means of cookies.

What GDPR means, and what it does not
"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.
Read the GDPR guide and browse all vendors with evidenceQuestions buyers ask
Is DoubleDutch GDPR compliant?
There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.
How does CertReports verify this?
Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
