Additionally, Dun & Bradstreet processes consumer data to support more meaningful, purposeful, relevant and personalized engagements between consumers and the sellers of specific goods and services. D&B uses some of this information for business related analysis and automated profiling. Subsidiaries Orb Intelligence and Mad Objective focus on the provision of deep firmographic data and IP-to-company data, building a digital view of a business's presence. Subsidiary Lattice Engines’ mission is to create an AI platform that enables companies to engage their buyers with 1-to-1 omni-channel experiences and make B2B marketing as personalized as B2C marketing. Eyeota is an audience technology platform that collects and uses data to ensure that the advertising is relevant by using aggregated data to map information and devices together to create a broad picture of groups of individuals and their preferences. The NetWise B2B Audience Data Platform enables any marketing team to execute multi-channel campaigns across every platform and in every channel. Professional contact information is used by businesses for marketing and data management purposes and for sales lead generation purposes. This information is collected for legitimate business purposes such as: providing trading partners with a sense of who is responsible for the decisions that drive the subject business; providing the business-related qualifications of the business principals, owners and managers; and serving as a resource to assess the likelihood of a given business's success. Such business-specific and commercial uses represent non-personal activities relating to business enterprises for business-to-business commerce decisions. The data is not used to assess individuals in their personal capacities. The Market Data Retrieval division provides marketing information and services for the education data market. Processing of Consumer Information for Foreign Affiliates or Personal Data as Part of D&B’s Business Product and Services Offerings Dun & Bradstreet Limited (an UK subsidiary of D&B Inc.) is licensed by the UK Financial Conduct Authority to provide credit referencing on sole traders, small partnerships and associations. However, it does not credit reference individuals in relation to their consumer activities but only their business activities. D&B’s U.S. operations may support these product and service offerings solely as a Data Processor acting at the specific direction of the European affiliate. They may process information about individual owners, principals and business professionals that has been collected and/or stored in the EU as part of its business product and service offerings, for purposes such as due diligence review of vendors, distributors, customers and other third parties. Such business-specific uses pertain to a business enterprise for business-to-business commerce decisions.
