- EDETEK is a Software as a Service (SaaS) company specializing in cloud-based clinical informatics software and related services. We provide biometrics services to pharmaceutical companies, contracted research organizations, and medical device companies to support various aspects of clinical trials. As a data processor, EDETEK receives and processes key-coded/pseudonymized health-related data of patients as per the requests from sponsors of clinical trials. This data, including information such as date of birth, gender, age, weight, and medical history, is entered into the clinical database by site personnel engaged by sponsors. EDETEK's services include managing the clinical database and hosting it on a commercial private cloud infrastructure. We review and report data issues, standardize data according to CDISC standards, perform statistical analysis, generate reports, and prepare submission packages for FDA or other regulatory agencies' approval. EDETEK will not share the data with third parties without an approval in writing from the data controller or the disclosing party for purposes that are materially different than what it was originally collected for.
