Scope
Elite Discovery, Inc. is a litigation support company involved in the collection of data for purposes of litigation discovery tasks. The types of data that we process are limitless and dependent on the type of discovery needed for each individual matter making the identification of the types of data to be collected virtually impossible. The data that is captured and processed is provided for review in various SAAS platforms with stringent security and hosted for review by parties and counsel involved in each legal matter. Data is stored for the period of time determined by the needs of our end-client and destroyed or encrypted and archived upon their request. Elite does not make use of any of this data for purpose of business or internal initiative and is simply an intermediary in the process of providing data to attorneys and corporate members for purpose of review and production within legal matters. The information above encapsulates our core business offering and general involvement in data collection. Through our marketing initiatives, we sometimes capture data through the marketing tool Constant Contact and Drift using our domain, email campaigns and tracking cookies. This information is encrypted in transit, stored within these two password-protected systems and never shared with any third party.

What GDPR means, and what it does not

"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.

Questions buyers ask

Is Elite Discovery GDPR compliant?

There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.

How does CertReports verify this?

Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
