- Our Privacy Shield commitment covers human resource (HR) and non-HR data we collect and/or process in the context of managing and fulfilling employment relationships with our EU associates, as well as other personal data we process while administering business relationships with or process on behalf of our clients, business partners and prospective relationships. Ensono collects and processes personal data from the EU about our website visitors, our clients and end-users to whom we provide our services, and other individuals who help us operate our business, such as vendors, service providers, consultants and advisors. In our relationship with non-employee third-parties, we collect and/or process the following categories of personal data for a number of purposes: administrative personal data, client hosted personal data and diagnostic personal data – to provide and maintain our services and websites, to deal with inquiries and requests, for customer support and feedback, to improve our websites and services, to process and complete transactions, manage client relationships, communicate with our clients/users, maintain accounts and records, and other legitimate business purposes. Where we process any personal data on behalf of our clients pursuant to our services agreements, we do so only as a data processor and strictly in accordance with our clients’ instructions. We disclose data to our third-party service providers who help support the operation of our business and the delivery of our services. We may also disclose data to third parties where required by law and during a corporate reorganization, sale, merger, or similar events. We use human resource data we collect from our associates in the EU only for the following business purposes: • The management and operations of our company, its functions and activities • Associate communications, including surveys, opinion polling and periodicals • Maintaining a global directory • Carrying out obligations under employment contracts and employment, tax and benefits laws, and regarding other working relationships or arrangements • Development and training programs • Recruiting and hiring job applicants • Assessing qualifications and performance • Performing background and reference verification • Determining compensations, benefits and promotions • Managing the employment termination process • Other general human resource purposes consistent with Ensono’s Culture and People Experience framework In line with Ensono’s corporate and privacy policies, we do not sell, lease, or rent personal information to third-parties. Ensono may disclose relevant personal information if it is required to do so through lawful requests from data subjects, public authorities, including to meet national security, public interest, legal process or law enforcement requirements. Information transfers to these entities are done in strict compliance with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework Principles.
