- The Evident.io Service enables organizations of all sizes to proactively manage cloud security risk — minimizing attack surface and improving overall security posture. The Service leverages a customer's AWS API's to process anonymized, aggregate, usage data related to the security controls, processes and remediation of the AWS environment. As a general matter, a user can browse the Service without submitting personal information to Evident.io. However, there are a number of circumstances in which a user may supply Evident.io with personal information. The following lists the most common ways in which personal information may be collected. • Registration for an account on the Service • Registration for an event sponsored by Evident • Profile information that a user provides for a user profile • Uploading Content to the Service • Commenting to blog entries • Submitting an application to work at Evident • Participation in surveys • Sign up to receive alerts or other information via email, text or instant message from Evident.io • Request for sales calls, customer service, support requests or other assistance • Service related communications, e.g. account verification; technical notification • Participation in communities, commenting to blog entries and participation in other forums • Submission of content or other data and information on any part of the Service that permits it • Any other place on the Service where a user knowingly volunteers personal information
