- ExtraView Corporation is the developer of ExtraView software. This is server software that can be accessed from anywhere in the world, by authorized users (see http://www.extraview.com). The software is highly configurable and each ExtraView customer decides what data will be stored. In all cases, the software is used to collect data about quality issues and business processes. The software is accessed in one of 2 ways: - Customers may install the software on their own servers and provide access to their users. In this instance, ExtraView Corp has no access to the data and no control over how the software is used - ExtraView Corp operates a cloud-based offering of the software. In this instance, ExtraView's customers are still responsible for deciding what data will be stored and these customers make their own policy decisions regarding how the software is configured. ExtraView will manage the cloud-based servers on behalf of these companies. Typical customer installations are configured for the following applications: - Gathering information about customer complaints. This may include consumer information such as names, addresses, telephone numbers - Gathering information about adverse reactions to customer's products including pharmaceuticals and food products. This may include information on which pharmaceuticals or food products are used by individual consumers. In no case does ExtraView Corp make any data available to 3rd parties.
