Scope
Finch offers a unified API which provides data integration services between joint systems that a controller chooses and is made available by the company as a processor or subprocessor, whichever is appropriate for the case. Finch's platform offers a proprietary software-as-service product that integrates with HR and payroll software (Data Exporters) to Customers (the party purchasing a subscription to Finch's services and controller of the data) and End Customers (the Customer's customer that authorizes the integration and enables Finch's platform to process their personal data for the benefit of the Customer). Finch acts as a processor or subprocessor on behalf of the Customer (Controller) in order to reduce manual processes, security risks, and technical overhead required to build and maintain integrations internally. Categories of data subjects whose personal data is transferred include Customers and their End Users such as account holders, end customers, employees, contractors, and end-users of the Data Exporter's and the Data Exporters' customers, vendors and partners. Categories of personal data transferred are those chosen by a Controller and issued to Finch as the processor or subprocessor on a case by case bases include name, address, email, phone number, authentication information, work history, pay rate and tax information, transactional and account information, health plan information, gender, marital status, and veteran status.

What GDPR means, and what it does not

"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.

Questions buyers ask

Is Finch GDPR compliant?

There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.

How does CertReports verify this?

Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
