- Flipsnack is a unique publishing platform developed and launched in 2011 by a handful of talented people. People from all over the globe choose Flipsnack to create catalogs online, to download, share or embed them into their websites. In providing these Services, Flipsnack collects and processes files and other content our customers (each, a ‘Customer’) submit to the Services or instruct us to process on their behalves in connection with the Services ('Customer Data'). Customer Data will be used by Flipsnack in accordance with Customer’s instructions, including any applicable terms in its agreement with Customer and Customer’s use of Services functionality, and as required by applicable law. Flipsnack is a processor of Customer Data and Customer is the controller. The purposes for our data collection vary based upon the customer's implementation as the controller, but include account registration and support; data analytics to improve products and services; processing the submitted data based upon customer requests; enabling online transactions; and sustaining marketing relationships. We also maintain human resources data, for the purpose of administering and carrying out our employment or personnel relationships with our employees. Flipsnack maintains an internal HR privacy policy that discloses and authorizes the use of employee personal data for employment-related purposes.
