- Scope
- The primary data we collect through the service is text, images, links, and other types of files and information for the purpose of storing it and making it accessible to our Customers within their account. Whenever a user interacts with our Service directly or through a third party integration, we will collect the first name, last name, email address, profile image, employer, company website, and job title. This is to be able to associate content with a user and the user with an employer within our system. When we display this content to the Users under a specific account, we will display the user's first name, last name, and profile image. At times, we also expose the user's email to other users of the same account to improve collaboration. Additionally, we use the email to allow users to regain access to their account and notify users of changes to the account or to our service. Additionally, when a user creates an account, we will ask for a unique password and optional phone number for login and account access recovery.

What GDPR means, and what it does not
"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.
Read the GDPR guide and browse all vendors with evidenceQuestions buyers ask
Is Foqal GDPR compliant?
There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.
How does CertReports verify this?
Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
