- Scope
- We provide live chat, lead generation and e-commerce software primarily to automotive dealer websites. In using our live chat, a customer on an automotive dealership website will initiate a live chat with one of our operators, and provide their contact information (eg. name, email, phone number) so that someone from the automotive dealership may contact them to help them with their inquiry. Alternatively, a user may also voluntarily submit their name, phone, and email via web form to claim an offer on the dealership website. For USA consumers only, using our e-commerce software on a dealership's website can complete many steps of the online vehicle purchase process including submitting contact information and information necessary for a credit application (driver's license, insurance card, employment history, SSN, home ownership, personal information). In the USA, we collect this information solely for the purpose of enabling the consumer to purchase a vehicle from the dealership that they are interacting with.

What GDPR means, and what it does not
"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.
Read the GDPR guide and browse all vendors with evidenceQuestions buyers ask
Is Gubagoo GDPR compliant?
There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.
How does CertReports verify this?
Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
