- In connection with the CompensationXL application, HCR Software Solutions Inc. acts as a data processor on behalf of its customer employers, which act as data controllers. Customers upload and process personal data relating to their employees and other authorized users for compensation planning and administration, including names, compensation and employment information, organizational information, and related account and system-usage data. HCR processes this personal data only as necessary to provide, secure, support, and maintain the CompensationXL services, in accordance with customer instructions and HCR's contractual obligations. Customer-authorized managers and users may access and use the data within CompensationXL for reviewing, analyzing, and managing compensation information. HCR may disclose personal data to authorized service providers and subprocessors as necessary to provide and support the CompensationXL services. Such providers are subject to contractual obligations governing the protection and permitted use of personal data.
