- The Honeycomb application is a hosted service for debugging complex computer systems. Our users provide personal information for their login data, and in addition they may upload data about their own systems (including personal data of their users in turn) to allow for debugging events. We collect basic user information such as email address and name that is necessary to provide our service. Human Resources (HR): Purpose: In reliance on the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, we collect and process personal data from employees, workers, and contractors located in the European Union and the United Kingdom in the context of the employment relationship. This includes, but is not limited to, activities such as recruiting and onboarding, administering payroll and benefits, delivering training, conducting performance reviews and engagement surveys, and managing workplace accommodations. Types of Data: The types of data we process may include general identifiers (e.g., name, contact information, government-issued IDs), device and usage data, demographic and health-related information, photographic images, geolocation, and compensation or tax-related details. Third Parties: We may share this data with third parties that support these HR-related functions, such as background check firms, HR and payroll processors, benefits administrators, IT asset management providers, training platforms, and travel service providers. These third parties act as service providers on our behalf and are required to handle personal data in accordance with applicable privacy obligations. Marketing and Business Development: Purpose: In reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF, we process personal data to support our global marketing and business development efforts. This includes, for example, collecting contact information through forms, events, and social platforms; delivering targeted campaigns via email; personalizing digital experiences; analyzing website engagement; and enriching customer profiles for outreach and segmentation. Types of Data: The categories of data we may process for these purposes include general identifiers (e.g., name, email, job title), behavioral and technical data (e.g., website usage, campaign interactions), and professional or demographic information. Third Parties: This data may be shared with third-party service providers and partners that support our marketing operations, such as CRM platforms, digital marketing and email delivery services, analytics vendors, data enrichment providers, and event or webinar platforms. These parties process data under our direction and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
