- Scope
- Indigenous is a US-based SaaS business, targeting (to-date) US-based clients and subjects. The Indigenous Platform is a multi-tenant, web content management and digital marketing platform. Included in the services: A WYSIWYG content management system (CMS), hosting platform, (email) marketing suite, contact database and analytics reports. The Indigenous Platform may be licensed to Organizations (companies that want to sell the platform as their own, to their own client-Accounts) and Accounts (companies that want to build and maintain a website and engage in digital marketing). The Indigenous Platform monitors and reports on the activities of known (Contact) and unknown (Anonymous or Fingerprinted) subjects interacting with platform-hosted web assets and platform-sourced digital marketing (email). As well, Indigenous collects data about administrative users in-Platform from both organizations and accounts in order to detect and debug technical issues.

What GDPR means, and what it does not
"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.
Read the GDPR guide and browse all vendors with evidenceQuestions buyers ask
Is Indigenous Software GDPR compliant?
There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.
How does CertReports verify this?
Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
