Scope
We provide backup and disaster recovery services. When our customers purchase these Services, they provide us with data, which may include personal data, and request that we process this data as a data processor on their behalf and in accordance with their instructions. Our customers are responsible for determining the personal data that they provide to us, and we process this data solely in accordance with the contractual terms we have agreed upon. We act as a processor and follow the direction of our customers, who are the data controllers or acting on behalf of the data controllers of the personal data we process on their behalf. The data we process, which we refer to as “Customer Data,” may include personal data such as names, email addresses, contact information (including phone numbers), hostnames, IP addresses, usernames, and any other relevant customer information. We process Customer Data primarily to deliver our Services to customers, including for purposes such as providing customer support, consultancy services, conducting research and analytics, and performing technical and logistical functions required by the customer. In all cases, this processing is carried out in accordance with the contractual obligations established with our customers, and as directed by them. Customer Content may also include service reports, which are generated to demonstrate compliance with customer agreements. In the case of our backup and disaster recovery services, we handle backups that may contain any type of data. Our processing of this data is limited to ensuring its integrity (e.g., via checksums and hashes), and providing self service capabilities to our customer like, storage, browsing (such as listing machines or files/folders), and returning the data to the customer upon request. As a data processor, we will only disclose personal information as instructed by our business customers or as required by applicable law. With the explicit consent of our customers and in accordance with their agreements, we may disclose personal information to subcontractors who are contracted to provide services on our behalf to help us deliver our online services to customers.

What GDPR means, and what it does not

"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.

Questions buyers ask

Is Infrascale GDPR compliant?

There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.

How does CertReports verify this?

Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
