- Jitsu Labs Inc operates a data engineering platform (Jitsu) that collects event and behavioral data on behalf of its business customers and delivers it to the data warehouses and other destinations those customers designate. Personal data received in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF is processed for the following purposes: To provide the Service — ingesting, validating, transforming, and routing event data submitted by or on behalf of our customers to the storage destinations (e.g., data warehouses) that those customers control. To operate, secure, and improve the Service — monitoring reliability and performance, preventing fraud and abuse, and providing customer support. To manage our customer relationships — account administration, billing, and service-related communications. Types of personal data processed: Customer/client data — contact and account details of our business customers' personnel (e.g., name, email, company) used to administer accounts and provide support. End-user data submitted through customers' use of the Service — identifiers such as IP address, device and browser information, anonymized user IDs, and associated event/usage data relating to our customers' own end users. Jitsu processes this data as a processor, on behalf of and under the instructions of its customers, and primarily transmits it to the customer-controlled destination rather than retaining it. Website visitor data — information collected from visitors to our own websites, as described in our privacy policy. Onward transfers / third parties: Jitsu discloses personal data only to (i) sub-processors and service providers that support the operation of the Service (e.g., cloud infrastructure and hosting providers) under contracts requiring data protection consistent with the DPF Principles, and (ii) the data warehouses or destinations designated and controlled by our customers. Jitsu does not sell personal data.
