- MailerLite, Inc. is an email marketing service provider that allows its clients to create and send email marketing newsletters to their subscribers as well as automate the sendings through MailerLite's tool (hereinafter - MailerLite). MailerLite collects and processes personal data of two categories of the data subjects - MailerLite’s customers and MailerLite’s customers’ subscribers. MailerLite acts as (1) a data controller for the personal data of its customers and (2) a data processor when it processes the personal data of its customers’ subscribers. MailerLite discloses the personal data of its customers to carefully selected third parties, such as payment service providers and customer support tools, to ensure the smooth and continuous provision of its services. MailerLite also shares the personal data of its clients and their subscribers with essential third parties, such as the data center provider. The purposes of processing are the following: MailerLite uses collected information for the operation of the services, to maintain the quality of the service, to provide general statistics regarding use of the service, to promote and analyze the services, to provide customer support and send information about the services, to protect the rights and safety of customers, subscribers, third-parties and its own, to send customized informational or promotional content and provide suggestions according to marketing preferences, to ensure observance of MailerLite’s Terms of Use and meet the legal requirements, to verify identity and provided information, manage payments, and for other business purposes.
