- Mode processes two types of personal data: User Profiles and Organizational Data. User profiles are associated with individual users of the site, include: email, name and possibly a photo. This data is used to provide access, enrich user experience and communicate with our users. Third parties are used for customer communication such as email and marketing efforts. Organization data include any data uploaded by a customer and stored on our systems. Organization data can only be shared with third parties where Mode has a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) in place per HIPAA. Such information is only shared as necessary to provide service. E.g. Mode is hosted in Amazon Web Services, we have a BAA in place with Amazon and Organization data is stored per the terms of our BAA in AWS.
