- Scope
- As a Mobile Device Management provider, our services are intended to be used by schools and organizations to remotely manage Apple devices (iPhones, iPads and Mac computers) used by them during educational and operational activities. In order to open an account with us, the Primary Leader, acting on behalf of a school or organization, provides us all the information necessary to fill the sign-up form available on https://myschool.mosyle.com/signup/ or https://mybusiness.mosyle.com/signup/ that includes entity’s name, website URL, physical address, phone number and the name, email, and position for the Primary Leader. Once the account is established, the Primary Leader will have the power to freely register, manually or by using integrations with a third-party software, all the other Users, providing information such as name, email and role (the “School’s Data”) or (the “Company’s Data”) which is considered customer data. We don’t request any Personal Data of any other User other than the Primary Leader. The information that is part of the entity’s Data is only intended to allow the entity to use the Services in an efficient manner, making possible to extend fragmented management privileges for some of its employees (Leaders, Administrators, Staff and Teachers) and also to internally identify which User is currently assigned to each managed device. Based on that, we don’t request the entity to share with us Personal Data of its Users as part of the Data. Also, our services can be technically used without any customer Data, just by using only the managed device information to organize and manage the devices. We, as a processor of the customer Data, are not responsible and have no available methods to validate if the customer Data is accurate and represents or not a natural person. The customer and the Primary Leader also represent and warrant that they obtained in advance a written consent from them and explain all the managing features and possibilities of the Services, and require them to read our Privacy Policy. We do not expect to share data with third parties excepting cases enforced by law or when with data center providers where we host our Services.

What GDPR means, and what it does not
"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.
Read the GDPR guide and browse all vendors with evidenceQuestions buyers ask
Is Mosyle GDPR compliant?
There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.
How does CertReports verify this?
Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
