- MotionPoint processes Personal Data that is transferred from the EU or Switzerland to MotionPoint in the US for purposes of: (1) providing, maintaining, developing, and improving the solutions MotionPoint offers to its business customers; (2) detecting and preventing potential fraud and security risks; (3) various administrative and record keeping purposes, such as billing; and (4) to execute customary employer to employee tasks such as hiring and payroll. Such processing is done in compliance with the Data Privacy Framework Principles. We collect limited information solely for the purpose of delivering B2B localization and translation services—specifically, first name, last name, and business email address. Our services do not process, transmit, or store any sensitive personal information. MotionPoint uses third parties to facilitate or outsource one or more aspects of its business, product and service operations (e.g., marketing vendors, data center providers, etc.) which may mean they have access to Personal Information to provide the services to MotionPoint. These are referred to as internal service providers. Personal Information collected from or about Data Subjects may also be transferred to a third party as a result of a sale, acquisition, merger, reorganization, other transfer, or bankruptcy (a “Transfer”) involving MotionPoint, where applicable law, rule, or regulation requires it; and/or if requested by authorities in the event of any act such as terrorism or an instance of local, regional, or national emergency.
