Scope
We provide a data analytics product that can process HR data about employees. We only sell to US-based companies, but some of them have global workforces, so we may process HR related personal information for citizens in the EU, UK and Switzerland. We are a data processor, not a data controller. The nature and type of personal information shared with our application is determined by our customers. We solely process data to fulfill the requirements of our contract with the data controller. We classify all data processed as Company Confidential and do not share it with third parties. We employ sub-processors as part of delivering our SAAS application, including a Cloud Hosting Provider for our Databases, Machine Learning and Data Processing pipelines, a Data Visualization provider for reporting and an Email provider for managing invitation workflows. Our website is globally available and may collect personal data from citizens of the EU, UK or Switzerland for the purpose of marketing the application we sell. Examples of data collected are contact information such as name, phone number and email address in order to provide information about our products and services through our website, or marketing events such as conferences or webinars. We do not sell or share this information to third parties, but we do employe sub-processors to manage the data we collect on our website. Examples of sub-processors are our CRM system and Marketing applications.

What GDPR means, and what it does not

"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.

Questions buyers ask

Is Motive Software GDPR compliant?

There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.

How does CertReports verify this?

Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
