- Pipl's DPF Certification applies to the personal data that Pipl receives in the United States from EU customers who use our paid products and services ("Customers"). Pipl provides people search, data enrichment, fraud prevention and identity verification services that allow EU Customers to receive additional information on or verify the identity of customers, potential customers, and others, using information from the web and other publicly available data. Customers provide Pipl with information about an individual, such as name, email or phone-number, and Pipl searches its index of information, including from the web and other publicly available sources, and provides the Customer with additional Personal Data related to that individual. Pipl is a data processor for the information it processes on behalf of Customers. Depending on the service provided, we share personal information with: Affiliates of Pipl, Inc. or our service providers, suppliers, agents and representatives, including but not limited to, payment processors, customer support, IT service providers as well as our customers.

What GDPR means, and what it does not
"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.
Read the GDPR guide and browse all vendors with evidenceQuestions buyers ask
Is Pipl GDPR compliant?
There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.
How does CertReports verify this?
Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
