- This Privacy Policy sets forth the standards QAD it is committed to comply with when personal data are collected and processed by QAD. “Personal Data” or "Personally Identifiable Information" is information about you, such as name, address, e-mail address, user ID, mailing address, and so on. Personal Data Processing QAD may process personal data for various purposes and in various contexts. QAD processes personal data when: •you visit our website qad.com or other QAD websites. •we provide services, such as cloud, support or consultancy services, to our customers. •we maintain contacts with our customers or prospects. •we market our products or services to our customers or prospects. •we perform corporate functions, such as HR, Finance and IT functions. QAD will only collect as much personal data as needed for specific, identified purposes, and we won’t use it for other purposes without obtaining your consent. The business of QAD is to provide software and services for large, usually multi-national, manufacturing companies, e.g. suppliers in the automotive industry. We are not involved in business directly with consumers. QAD either licenses software or makes software available through its cloud services; QAD essentially provides its customers with tools they can use to work with their data. Customers therefore enter and process their own data and QAD is not involved in either data entry or extraction. We never use data entered by customers into our cloud environments for any other purpose than to provide or develop the (cloud) services. In addition to providing services to our customers, we conduct the normal activities one would expect any company to do (administration, HR, etc.).

What GDPR means, and what it does not
"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.
Read the GDPR guide and browse all vendors with evidenceQuestions buyers ask
Is QAD GDPR compliant?
There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.
How does CertReports verify this?
Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
