- Georama Inc., d/b/a QualSights is a private technology company based in Chicago, IL, USA. QualSights provides a technology platform which is designed to facilitate a wide range of consumer experience and consumer preference research projects. Generally, these projects are conducted by QualSights’ customers (usually companies) by allowing such companies to: (1) engage individuals (“research participants”) to participate in research projects, and (2) to observe and interact with those individuals in a variety of real-world contexts (e.g. in a store, or via a live interview session) to understand how those individuals use, consume or react to products or services. In general, QualSights performs the following processing activities with regard to personal data: 1. Standard Data Processing Activities (recording, storage, application processing, data transmission, etc.). Certain portions of these processing activities are performed by third parties (e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure for data storage), as disclosed in Section 7 of our privacy policy. 2. Data Evaluation: Certain data sources may be further processed to create additional layers of information using additional technologies, including machine transcription of audio, machine identification of keywords and topics, machine-based sentiment analysis processing of text (as disclosed in Section 2 of our privacy policy). 3. Site Usage Evaluation: We process cookie and other site usage information for site evaluation purposes. Note: QualSights does not use any technologies that are designed to identify an individual(s) based on biometric information (e.g. photographs, recordings) that may be processed by the platform. Note: As disclosed in our privacy policy, QualSights does not aggregate and sell personal data to any third party – except to the extent that data are transmitted to our customers in the course of the provision of services to customers.
