- Scope
- Reel-Scout, Inc. builds film crew & vendor directories for film/screen offices. These directories, integrated with the film/screen office website, allow local crew & vendors to create profiles which list their credits, describe their work experiences, promote their skill sets, etc. These profiles are searchable by the productions considering filming in that area, and the productions can then contact the crew member or vendor to hire them. The personal data in each profile is entered voluntarily by the person/vendor creating the profile, and the only personal information consists of a name and a method of contact - either a phone number or an email address. The data stored in the directory is not financial (e.g., credit card #'s), health-related (HIPAA information or the equivalent), or sensitive (e.g., social security #'s or the equivalent). In this arrangement, the crew/vendor is the data creator/enterer, the film/screen office is the data controller, and Reel-Scout, Inc. is the data processor. There are no other parties involved.

What GDPR means, and what it does not
"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.
Read the GDPR guide and browse all vendors with evidenceQuestions buyers ask
Is Reel-Scout GDPR compliant?
There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.
How does CertReports verify this?
Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
