Scope
ScoutDNS provides DNS security, filtering, threat protection, and DNS-layer visibility services to business customers. ScoutDNS processes DNS query data and related technical information on behalf of its customers and their end users for the purpose of providing, securing, maintaining, and supporting these services. Such data may include DNS queries, timestamps, network or device identifiers, IP-related information, DNS response information, and related security telemetry. ScoutDNS acts as a service provider/processor with respect to customer DNS data and processes such data in accordance with its customers' instructions. ScoutDNS also processes limited personal data relating to visitors to its business website. Depending on how an individual interacts with the website, this may include IP addresses, browser and device information, website usage information, and information voluntarily provided through contact, demo, support, or other forms. This information is used to operate and secure the website, respond to inquiries, provide requested information or services, understand website usage, and conduct business communications and marketing where permitted. We disclose such personal data only to service providers acting as agents on our behalf under contract: Stripe, Inc. (payment processing), Zoho Corporation (subscription billing, CRM, and support), Microsoft Corporation (business email), Google LLC (website analytics), Netlify, Inc. (website hosting and form submissions), The Constant Company, LLC d/b/a Vultr (cloud infrastructure hosting), Calendly LLC (meeting scheduling), and Cloudflare, Inc. (website bot protection). We do not sell personal data and do not disclose it to third parties for their own independent use.

What GDPR means, and what it does not

"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.

Questions buyers ask

Is ScoutDNS GDPR compliant?

There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.

How does CertReports verify this?

Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
