Scope
With account holders, we store a name, email address, phone number, and a log of system interactions, and use cookies to manage logins and redirect users to a branded subdomain (if they have set one up). Account holders can create contacts to videoconference with, and can choose to enter an email address or smart phone number if they would like to send an e-mail/SMS invitation through our system. Account holders may also choose to set up an E-document for a participant to view/sign, enter Session Notes for case files, or record sessions which are stored encrypted on our servers. We also use IP addresses to determine approximate location to assist hosts in compliance with licensure requirements (licenses usually limited to particular states), and then use a one-way hash to track/block potentially malicious IP addresses after 20 consecutive failed login attempts.

What GDPR means, and what it does not

"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.

Questions buyers ask

Is SecureVideo GDPR compliant?

There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.

How does CertReports verify this?

Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
