- SkyKick collects personal information from website visitors on its Websites to respond to the website visitor requests and for marketing purposes as permissible under applicable law. SkyKick may process contact details and other personal information in connection with the efforts of a website visitor to: (a) request or obtain product and/or marketing materials; (b) register for company or company-related events; (c) request contact with a salesperson; (d) submit questions or inquiries; or (e) engage in interactive features of our website (e.g. bulletin boards, community blog, etc.). SkyKick Inc. may also use information of website visitors to help analyze and monitor usage patterns on the Websites, to diagnose and resolve issues with the Websites, and otherwise improve and protect the Websites. In addition, SkyKick collects registration information when a customer registers to use SkyKick Services. The SkyKick Services that are provided are cloud migrations, cloud storage and cloud management. Customer registration information may include name, company name, email address, and phone number. SkyKick may also request additional profile information such as title, or department name. SkyKick uses this information to communicate with its customers and to provide notices, as appropriate. SkyKick may also use this information to help monitor and analyzes usage patterns on, to diagnose and resolve issues with, and otherwise improve and protect the SkyKick Services. SkyKick may also collect personal information from vendors and other business partners for business management purposes. In connection with providing its Services, SkyKick acts as a data processor, as defined in the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), and hosts and processes IT-related information and other business data on behalf and upon instructions of its customers, which may include personal information. As part of these Services, customers may upload data onto SkyKick controlled cloud services. Customers are the data controllers. SkyKick does not choose or control the data that is uploaded by its customers and any exposure to, or use of such data is associated with performing the contractual obligations to its customer as a data processor. SkyKick may disclose personal data to entities within the SkyKick group and to its business partners but will only do so on a need-to-know basis and in a secured fashion. SkyKick uses third-party cloud services providers to process personal data on behalf of SkyKick Inc., including to provide data storage services. SkyKick may need to disclose personal data to public authorities, as required by law.
