- Spanning Cloud Apps provides data protection for several SaaS applications (such as Google Apps, Salesforce, and Office 365). We provide backup and restoration services for customer data. Spanning does not access any customer data, it is all treated as an opaque blob with the exception of metadata used for search and navigation in our restore workflows. This data is only visible to data owners. We also collect contact information for marketing use.
