- HR Data: this data is processed by Stream.io.INC for the applicable personnel, for the purpose of entering into a work relationship between the parties. This data includes Personal Information of the individual (name, surname, address, document/passport ID, compensation information, bank ID etc.), background check related data and recruitment data. Customer Data: Stream processes Customer Data in relation to the service it provides. This includes accounts that Customer create on getstream.io website, as well as data processed via the API. Customers generally integrate with a product which is part of Stream's API offering and process data through the API. Stream generally has no prior knowledge of the data processed by its Customers via the API and such data is assumed to contain Personally Identifiable Information. Stream processes (and eventually transfers, if applicable) the data only to provide the service and eventual service improvements, as allowed and described by its terms and conditions. Stream provides its Customers the ability to control where the data is stored and processed, among the available locations. While there is no systematic data transfer to the US, the DPF will cover and govern those instances where such transfer might become necessary (e.g. for Disaster Recovery purposes). Stream does not disclose such data to third-parties, except with regards to the declared list of sub-processors, managed in compliance with GDPR requirements. Note that, while Stream relies on subprocessors to operate its platform, it does not disclose data to the subprocessor, in the sense that the individual subprocessor (a) is generally not able to access the data (b) the sub processor is bound by Stream instructions and is authorised to process the data only to the extent this is necessary to offer the service.
