- TARTLE allows for the data creator's self-management, storage, transfer and monetization of personal data. Data creator (data seller) permissions the transfer of a copy of datum to the data requestor (data buyer). TARTLE never discloses personal data. TARTLE cannot manage personal data. TARTLE cannot access personal data. TARTLE does not disclose data to third parties. TARTLE facilitates the relationship between data owner and data requestor in a secure, compliant and ethical manner. All personal data regardless of type of handled in the same manner, where the data owner is in fully control exclusive of TARTLE itself. Our marketplace processes personal data for finance, healthcare, artificial intelligence, retail, and market research. Data types can include videos, audio, photos, surveys, genome sequences, receipts, gps locations, etc. The basic flow is such: Data seller stores data -> Data seller receives request to share data from data buyer -> Data Seller accepts requests -> Data Buyer sends funds -> Data Seller sends data copy -> transaction is recorded in marketplace for date/time/price/pubkey For further technical details on how the marketplace technology works, it can be found here: https://patents.google.com/patent/US20240146698A1/

What GDPR means, and what it does not
"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.
Read the GDPR guide and browse all vendors with evidenceQuestions buyers ask
Is TARTLE GDPR compliant?
There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.
How does CertReports verify this?
Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
