Scope
Tavus Inc. operates an AI platform that lets business customers deploy real-time conversational AI video agents and generate AI video, and offers a consumer app (PALs). Tavus processes personal data received from the EU and UK in two roles: (1) As a processor on behalf of business customers. This includes audio, video, transcripts, and contact details of end users who interact with AI agents that our customers deploy. We process this data only to provide the service according to our customers' instructions and our data processing agreement. (2) As a controller for our own website visitors, account holders, and consumer users. This includes account and contact information, audio and video samples users provide to create their AI replicas, and usage data. We use this data to provide, secure, support, and improve our services and to communicate with users. Tavus discloses personal data to service providers acting as agents on its behalf, such as cloud hosting, AI model providers, payment processing, analytics, and customer support tools, under contracts that require protection consistent with the DPF Principles.

What GDPR means, and what it does not

"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.

Questions buyers ask

Is Tavus GDPR compliant?

There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.

How does CertReports verify this?

Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
