- Scope
- The purpose of the data we collect is so that we can properly enroll our client organizations' employees into our system, send enrollment data to insurance companies, process terminations, initiate a process for employee self-activation, and for certain services administer the associated benefits. Doing so allows our users to onboard themselves onto our platform with minimal setup work. It also enables us to give the user a much more personalized onboarding experience given that we have additional context on the user even before their first login. The data can include name, birth date, SSN, and email addresses. This information is not shared with a third party unless it is necessary for the administration of benefits. We share data with insurance carriers to ensure appropriate start and end of coverage, upload it to third party platforms for the administration of COBRA and CDH benefits, and use a single print vendor for any mail that has to be issued. All vendors through whom we process data are HIPAA compliant and have a BAA in place with ThrivePass.

What GDPR means, and what it does not
"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.
Read the GDPR guide and browse all vendors with evidenceQuestions buyers ask
Is ThrivePass GDPR compliant?
There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.
How does CertReports verify this?
Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
