- NAME AND DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT TrustRadius operates an online community for the collection of the opinions and experiences of enterprise software users. These users (aka “reviewers”) describe their experiences, successes, and challenges purchasing, deploying, using, and maintaining software packages across the spectrum of domains. Individuals researching enterprise software for purchase, comparison, or knowledge gathering (aka “buyers”) search, read, comment on, and otherwise benefit from this content. The creators of these software packages (aka “vendors”) also frequent the community to interact with their reviewers and buyers. In addition, vendors may contract with TrustRadius for advanced services that further those interactions. One of these paid services, our Review Management Program, allows the exchange of vendor customer lists for purposes of driving customer content from existing vendor relationships. THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS RELATE TO SITUATIONS WHERE TRUSTRADIUS RECEIVES A CUSTOMER LIST IN REVIEW MANAGEMENT PROGRAM (RMP) Q: What types and elements do you process? Customer Lists consist of data subjects’ information specifically: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and/or Employer Company Name. Q: For what duration do you process? Customer List data may be stored and processed at the direction of our customer for the term of agreement between customer and TrustRadius. Q: What is the nature of processing? TrustRadius receives Customer Lists via a secure file transfer mechanism (https via box.net). At the direction of customer, TrustRadius then sends email to addresses in the Customer List (an “Email Campaign”) using Marketo. Before sending, TrustRadius validates email addresses using third-party services from Briteverify. In all of these cases, no local copies of Customer Lists are created only those in Box.net. The information is processed by direct reference to that location. Further details can be found in the customer DPA Annex 2 - Technical and Organizational Measures. Q: What is the processing purpose? Email validation ensures deliverability while the Email Campaign itself invites recipients to become reviewers of customer products on TrustRadius or update any prior reviews created.
