Workday acts as a processor for the personal data its customers submit electronically into Workday’s enterprise cloud applications or, where applicable, submit to Workday for implementation and consulting services ("Services Personal Data"). Workday processes Services Personal Data for the purpose of providing and supporting the enterprise cloud applications. Workday processes Services Personal Data on behalf of and according to its customers’ instructions, who are the controllers. In some cases, in accordance with our customer agreements, we may engage subprocessors to provide processing services on our behalf, in order to provide the Workday enterprise cloud applications to our customers.

Adaptive Insights processes Services Personal Data for the purposes of providing and supporting the Service for which the Customer has engaged Adaptive Insights. Adaptive Insights processes Services Personal Data as instructed by its Customers and has no direct control or ownership of the personal data it processes. As a data processor, Adaptive Insights will disclose Services Personal Data only as instructed by the data controller or as required by law. In some cases, in accordance with our customer agreements, we may disclose Services Personal Data with a subcontractor contracted to provide services on our behalf, in order to provide the Adaptive Insights service to our Customers.
