- Yorktel is in the business of video conference room design/installation/maintenance, and video conference scheduling and call launching. We serve federal and commercial customers but not consumers. Our customers will provide the video conference room contact person's name, business email addresses, business phone numbers, and office addresses to Yorktel in order to for Yorktel to contact the support staff in their organizations to work with Yorktel to address video conference related issues. When our customers use our video conference service, they will provide their users’ name, business email address, and business phone number to Yorktel to create corresponding user accounts. Their information is collected purely for Yorktel to deliver products or services to fulfill the service contracts. Their personal data will not be used for other purposes or sold to a third party. For the contact information such as name, title, business email address, and business phone number collected during trade shows, conferences, or submitted by potential customers via our public web sites, those data will be used by Yorktel’s marketing email campaign to promote Yorktel’s products and services. Recipients of those emails can unsubscribe the email with a URL link included in the email. They can also request to remove their personal data. Yorktel subscribes Microsoft Office 365 services which Yorktel uses its online email services to send and receive emails. Emails may contain personal data from our customers and employees. Microsoft is Privacy Shield certified. Therefore, it is pretty low risk to have Microsoft to handle our emails. Yorktel collects and processes Yorktel employee personal data purely for the context of employment relationship. The EU/Swiss based employees have limited personal data stored in the Human Resources module in our corporate enterprise resources planning platform in the US. The EU/Swiss based employee data stored in the US as shown above is used to build the organization structure chart, to drive the business processes such as roles to approve time sheet or roles to issue purchase orders, and to analyze project status such as cost analysis.
