- Scope
- JRNI provides a software-as-a-service platform used by our clients to manage appointments, events, and queuing experiences for their end-users. In providing this service, JRNI processes the following categories of personal data in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF: 1. Non-HR Data Processing This category includes data processed by JRNI on behalf of our clients. A. Client Employee Data Types of Data: We process professional contact and operational information about our clients' employees, including name, business email address, business phone number, work location, work schedule, and skill/training information relevant to the services they provide. Purpose of Processing: This data is processed solely to operate the platform as directed by our client. The purpose is to facilitate the appropriate matching of our clients' employees with end-users for scheduling appointments, managing events, or organizing queues. Method of Processing: The data is submitted to and managed within the JRNI platform by our clients. It is used to create staff profiles, display availability in booking interfaces, and assign staff to specific services or events. This Data is stored within the respective client’s region. For the purposes of technical support, maintenance and service continuity, this data may be accessed by authorized JRNI staff that reside within the United States. B. End-User Data Types of Data: We process personal data about the end-users (i.e., the customers of our clients) which typically includes name, email address, and phone number. Our clients may also configure the platform to collect additional data fields necessary for the delivery of their specific services. Purpose of Processing: This data is processed to allow end-users to schedule appointments, join queues, or register for events with our clients, and to receive related communications (e.g., confirmations and reminders). Method of Processing: End-users or client employees input this data into the platform. It is used to generate attendance lists, calendar entries, queue management records, and to trigger automated notifications. This Data is stored within the respective client’s region. For the purposes of technical support, maintenance and service continuity, this data may be accessed by authorized JRNI staff that reside within the United States. 2. HR Data Processing JRNI processes Human Resources data for its own personnel located in the European Union, United Kingdom, and/or Switzerland, which is transferred to the United States for processing. Types of Data: This includes identification data, contact information, recruitment data, compensation and benefits information, performance reviews, and other information necessary for the management of the employment relationship. Purpose of Processing: This data is processed for standard human resources purposes, including workforce management, payroll and benefits administration, recruitment, and compliance with legal obligations. Method of Processing: Data is collected from employees and processed within our internal corporate systems by our US-based human resources team to manage the employment lifecycle. 3. Disclosures to Third Parties Personal data processed by JRNI may be disclosed to a limited set of third-party sub processors for the sole purpose of providing and supporting our services. These include providers of cloud hosting infrastructure and communication delivery services (e.g., for sending email and SMS notifications). We maintain contractual agreements with these subprocessors to ensure data is protected and used only as directed by JRNI. Personal data is not sold or shared with third parties for their own independent marketing or commercial purposes.

What GDPR means, and what it does not
"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.
Read the GDPR guide and browse all vendors with evidenceQuestions buyers ask
Is JRNI GDPR compliant?
There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.
How does CertReports verify this?
Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
