Scope
OneSignal provides a SaaS platform for mobile app developers and web developers to use as part of their software products, generally in the form of a Software Library or Software Development Kit (SDK). Our platform permits app developers and websites to send, manage, optimize, and customize push notifications, emails, text messages, and in-app messages to their users. OneSignal processes data our customers submit to us or instruct us to collect on their behalf. This information typically includes analytics about the usage of a customer's app and end-user information that is necessary for our customers to correctly deliver messages to their end-users, such as an end user's e-mail address. OneSignal works with some third-party providers who help process data on our behalf in order to support the operation of our service, but we are careful to restrict access to Personal Information to only what is necessary.

What GDPR means, and what it does not

"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.

Questions buyers ask

Is OneSignal GDPR compliant?

There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.

How does CertReports verify this?

Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
