- Our organization primarily acts as a data processor for our customers, meaning that we handle and process personal data on behalf of our customers. As a data processor, we do not have visibility into the specific personal data that our customers send to our platform. The processing is performed as directed by our customers, in accordance with their instructions, and applicable data protection laws. Tealium uses certain sub-processors in order to provide the Tealium services. These include Amazon Web Services, Inc., Databricks, Inc., and Workato, Inc. For a current list of sub-processors please visit https://tealium.com/subprocessors/. Tealium has no visibility into or control over third parties that may receive such data from our customers’ use of the Tealium services. We collect Business to Business (B2B) personal data for our customers' employees in order to provide the services they require. This may include data such as names, job titles, contact details, and other relevant information necessary for our customers' business operations. B2B personal data may be shared with Marketo and Salesforce for the purposes of communicating with users of the Tealium services. Additionally, we also collect personal data of our own employees for employment purposes. We may share personal data of employees with third party providers in order to perform the functions as further stated in our Employee Privacy Policy. Tealium ensures that all third-party service providers related to employee data adhere to robust contractual obligations to maintain compliance with the DPF Principles, including accountability for onward transfers. We transfer personal data only as necessary for the specified purposes and ensure appropriate technical and organizational measures are in place to safeguard the data.

What GDPR means, and what it does not
"GDPR compliant" is a claim, not a certification. The verifiable facts are a public DPA, SCC usage, an EU representative, data residency options and a Data Privacy Framework listing.
Read the GDPR guide and browse all vendors with evidenceQuestions buyers ask
Is Tealium GDPR compliant?
There is no GDPR certification in general use. The verifiable facts are a public data processing agreement, standard contractual clauses, an EU representative and a Data Privacy Framework listing. See the legal artefacts and the DPF row on this page, each with its capture date.
How does CertReports verify this?
Every state carries a capture date, a source and a snapshot link. Registry rows come from the official registry data; vendor statements come from the vendor’s own page or trust centre; nothing is inferred. Vendors can dispute any row and corrections ship within two business days.
