  • Where data is hosted or processed

    Where is customer data hosted, and can we choose a specific region?

    Tealium is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Customers select their data hosting region at onboarding from: United States, Ireland, Germany, Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong. A dedicated single-tenant Private Cloud deployment is also available. Once selected, Tealium commits contractually not to move Customer Data outside that region without the customer's written instruction or a valid legal order.

  • Encryption

    How is customer data encrypted?

    Customer data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and protected in transit using TLS 1.2+. Legacy protocols (TLS 1.0/1.1 and SSL) are disallowed.

  • Penetration testing

    Do you conduct annual independent penetration testing?

    Yes, Tealium engages an independent third-party firm to conduct penetration testing at least annually. Critical findings are remediated within 14 days. A summary report is available in our Resources section under NDA.
