- Online retailers, suppliers, and the third-party providers with whom they work (collectively, “Participants”) use CommerceHub’s services to establish connections for the exchange and analysis of e-commerce information. A Participant forwards order fulfillment information in connection with an online order taken by a Participant into the CommerceHub system. As a general matter, order fulfillment data received by CommerceHub from a Participant includes items ordered, as well as personal data such as a purchaser’s name, shipping address, email address, and phone number. We organize and transmit this data to a connected Participant for order fulfillment purposes, and route certain confirmations and other order-related communications between Participants. We also collect personal information from visitors to our websites, users of our services, and persons who connect with us via social media. As a general matter, this information typically includes personal data such as contact person name, work email address, work mailing address, work telephone number, title, and company name. CommerceHub may also collect information automatically such as but not limited to IP address. We use information we collect to provide, maintain and improve our services, to provide access and information to visitors and users, and as otherwise set forth in our privacy policy and permitted by applicable law. We may disclose personal information to service providers that act as our agent, consultant, or contractor to perform tasks on behalf of and under our instructions, such as hosting or data analysis.
